How to include Pantone's Colour of the Year into your daily living.

We love this colour here at Tone Interiors! It's not quite pink and its not quite orange. It gives a warmth to any room however there is a risk of giving off an 80s peach bridesmaid dress vibe! We certainly don't want you to make that mistake so here are some subtle ways to add peach tones to your home.
#1 - Refresh your accessories
This is an easy and cost effective way to add new colour into your home. If you have a fairly neutral space to work with, purchasing accessories in a peachy colourway will really add a fresh but cozy feeling to the room. Bring out yellows and oranges in peach by pairing it with purples and golds. Bring out pink by pairing it with navy, green and coral. It is also complemented by neutral tones such as cream and straw. It really is a good all rounder!
#2 - Switch up your lighting
If you didn't want to make too much of a change to your space, swapping the lampshade on your table lamp to a peach one would really warm up the room giving it a lovely glow morning through evening regardless of the amount of daylight. How about starting with this and moving on to something more permanent, like changing the wall lights, when you know you're sure.
"When you bring in peach either in art or accessories, the warm tone allows dark colors to pop. This directs your eye to the peach hue, bringing additional warmth into a potentially cold space.” - Designer Tracy Morris
#3 - Add a statement piece
Whether this be a statement armchair, some new scatter cushions or a piece of art, adding a stand out piece will really give extra warmth to the room even with just one item.
#4 - Layer the colour with different textures
Be sure to select a textile with texture like a boucle or interesting weave. A solid plain linen could feel very dated. Remember, it's 2024 not 1984!
